Fitting the rear axle. The bolt holding the rear axle is additionally secured by a (Halter/U-Eisen) welded to the axle.
I got the axle from the local junk yard. First I had to remove the original (Achsenhalter) and also the dirt and rust ;-) . Then I took it to Gorgus Ltd. and had the new (Achsenhalter) welded to it (the TÜV wants it that way :( ). Lastly, I gave it a paint job; it's supposed to look nice.

The shocks were delivered with the wrong (Gummibuchsen) (diameter 11 point something instead of 12 mm). Sadly it took a long time, until I received the right ones :( .
I also got the uprights from the junk yard. Clean up all the stuff, give it new paint job, fit new bearings and mount new brake disks.
The steering is from an old Escort (what is it in England, a Cortina??), also from the yunk jard. It's still looking almost new, you wouldn't believe it's already a few years old.
Break lines

You can really get creative fitting the break lines ... Bend nice angles so they don't touch any other part of the car except where they are supposed to.
